Boeing’s very first 787 Dreamliner – ZA001 – flew its final flight on 22 June, flying from Seattle to Nagoya in Japan. Here, the aircraft will be put on display at Chubu Centrair airport. Major components of the Dreamliner are manufactured in the Nagoya-area.
On 15 December 2009, ZA001 was the first Dreamliner to take to the sky, taking off from Boeing Everett Field Seattle. The aircraft accumulated countless flight hours during many test flights. Boeing earlier donated Dreamliner ZA002 to the Pima Air and Space Museum and ZA003 to the Seattle Museum of Flight.
