The HondaJet sort of returned home on 23 April as the light business jet flew from the US to Japan for the first time, landing at Tokyo Haneda International Airport. The flight marks the start of a world tour to conduct flight demonstrations in 13 countries in Asia and Europe.
The Japan visit comes twelve years after the HondaJet’s first flight in the US, were the type is being developed and produced. While in Japan, the HF120 GE Honda new-generation turbofan engine equipped jet will also visit Sendai, Kobe, Kumamoto, Kounan and Narita International Airport.
The HondaJet will then continue East, visiting the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva, which begins 19 May.
