Swiss wants more Triple Sevens

Swiss International Air Lines announced on 12 March 2015 that it would like to buy three Boeing 777-300ER long-range jets.

The order, valued at US$990 million at list prices, follows Swiss’ previous order for six 777-300ERs in 2013.

Swiss is part of the Lufthansa Group and currently serves 69 destinations across 37 countries worldwide from Zurich, Basel and Geneva international airports with a fleet of more than 90 narrow and wide-body airplanes.
