Sukhoi delivered the 18th Superjet 100 to Aeroflot on 20 February 2015. The aircraft with the tail number RA — 89047 was named after Alexander Gruzdin, a Russian World War II pilot.
The 17th SSJ100 of Aeroflot was delivered just one day earlier, on 19 FEbruary 2015. Both aircraft feature a 87 seat configuration, with two classes.
Since the entry into service of the first Aeroflot SSJ100 the airline has flown more than 40,000 hours with the type, with scheduled flights in Russia and to/from destinations in Germany, Lithuania, Montenegro, Greece, Finland, Norway, Croatia, Romania, Latvia, Estonia and Ukraine.
