State-owned Russian Helicopters is planning more regional service centres, the company confirmed on 10 February 2015.
To enlarge its global network, Russian Helicopters is planing to open a Mil Mi-8/Mi-17 service centre in 2016 in Egypt. Brazil will get one for the Mi-35 Hind helicopters and Peru’s Mi-171 service centre is planned to be completed by 2018. Moreover India will get a Repair Plant for the Mi-17.
