Thai receives its 75th brand-new Boeing plane

Thai Airways received its 75th brand-new Boeing airplane from the “mother factory” on 21 January 2015. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300ER, brought along a thousand woolen blankets to give some people in Thailand some warmth during the colder winter months.

Thai currently operates four 787 Dreamliners and has operated nearly every model of the 777. Thai Cargo was the first carrier in Southeast Asia to utilize the 777 Freighter. The airline has an additional two 777-300ERs on order.
