Polish Air Force (Siły Powietrzne) C-130E Hercules transport aircraft have been engaged in large-scale parajump training this month, the Polish Ministry of Defence stated on 21 July 2014. Polish Red Berets from the 6th Airborne Brigade (6 Brygady Powietrznodesantowej) so far made more than 2,255 jumps and are training alongside US and Canadian paratroopers.

The forces have been using three dropzones and up to four transport aircraft at a time. It was not disclosed if these were four Polish aircraft, or that US and Canadian Hercs were also involved.

Poland has five C-130Es, based at flying with 14. Eskadra Lotnicza (14.el or 14 Squadron) based at 33. Baza Lotnictwa Transportowego (33.BLTr or 33rd Air Transport Base) in Powidz.
