Embraer Executive Jets delivered the 300th Phenom 100 at 1 April 2014 from its São José dos Campos facility in Brazil. The Phenom 100 is a clean-sheet-design jet announced in 2005. The first aircraft was delivered in December 2008, and the current fleet is operating in over 25 countries.
The 300th Phenom 100 was delivered to Laticínios Bela Vista, an agribusiness company based in Bela Vista de Goiás, in Central Brazil, renowned for its Piracanjuba brand of dairy products. This is the second Phenom 100 for Laticínios Bela Vista, whose primary use of the aircraft is to shuttle corporate officers and management among the company’s industrial facilities, and to visit customers in major cities across Brazil.
The Phenom 100E is a fairly spacious entry-level jet with relatively large windows, a private aft lavatory and amenities such as the inflight entertainment. It has an operating cost comparable to that of leading turboprop aircraft, but is faster of course.
