The 5th aircraft will be used on existing routes between and in Europe, Asia and the United States – with everything going more or less through Moscow as ABC’s grand central.
AirBridgeCargo’s current fleet consists of 12 Boeing 747s: five Boeing 747-400ERFs (Extended Range Freighters), three Boeing 747-400 Freighters and five Boeing 747-8 Freighters.
Compared to the 747-400, the Boeing 747-8F has 16 per cent more cargo volume, using a characteristic nose door and ramp as a handy way to load and offload.
