The Austrian Defence Force already flies 9 similar S-70 Black Hawk helicopters since the beginning of this century. The operate with Medium Transport Helicopter Squadron (Mittlere Transporthubschrauberstaffel (mTHSSta)) out of Fliegerhorst Brumowski / Tulln-Langenlebarn north of Vienna.
