The second Airbus A350 XWB joined the A350 test program on Monday morning, as the aircraft took off for its first flight from Toulouse. Once airborne, the aircraft headed for Bordeaux and then for the Bay of Biscay. After a five hour flight, the aircraft headed back to Toulouse.
The second A350 XWB joins the first aircraft, that performed the first ever A350 flight on 14 June this year. Three more A350s are to join the test program. So far, a total of 725 Airbus A350s are on order from 37 customers. First delivery is on the agenda for the second half of next year, the happy customer being Qatar Airways.
