Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier plans the first flight of its new CS series business jet / regional airline jet on Monday September 16th, the company announced.

Pending optimal weather conditions and aircraft readiness the more precise timing of flight test vehicle one (FTV1) will be confirmed approximately 24 hours prior to lift-off. The plane will choose the blue yonder from Bombardier’s Mirabel facility in Québec.

The aircraft recently made a high-speed taxi-run, when even the nose-wheel lifted a bit up. AIRheads↑Fly already reported on August 9 about the CS series test vehicle being readied for its premier flight.

Live webfootage of the take-off will be provided at www.cseriesfirstflight.bombardier.com
